Darth Vadersehen Pet

Here is the first clip in many of Darth Vadersehen Pet.
The genius behind these clips is well, a genius. They just seem to go together too well in fact, and I'm sure you will have a good giggle watching them. There hasn't been a new one for a while now, and I hope there will be a new scene soon.

Tim Spall back on our screens in August.

Timothy Spall, who as we all know played Barry Taylor in Auf Pet, will be back on our screens in August with a new documentary.

Entitled "Spall at Sea", the show will see Tim sailing his boat around the UK, stopping off in such locations as Hartlepool, Newcastle Upon Tyne and Berwick.

Will Barry sorry Tim give anything away about playing Barry on Auf Pet?.....We will have to wait and see.

Spall at Sea airs in August on BBC One.

The Barley Mow in 1995, The Windmill Inn.

After visiting Beesthorpe Hall, the owner helped us along the way to find The Barley Mow, The Windmill Inn, which is located in Redmile, Nottinghampshire. This was in the days before the internet and sat navs, and the only way of finding things was word of mouth and maps.

We later had a swift half in here, which if I remember was quite good, although "The landlord was a right misery.......Think he became Landlord, when they turned him down for the Wheelclamp Unit...." No he wasn't.

Thornley Manor, Beesthorpe Hall

I made my first trip to Thornley Manor, Beesthorpe Hall in 95. This was in the days before the internet, and we found out the location of Thornley Manor by simply picking up the phone and ringing Central Television, which gladly pointed us in the right direction.

I was as nervous as anything, and after driving around for about 30 minutes we just had to knock on the door. After telling the owners son we were just fans of Auf Pet, he said....."Come in, I'll show you round!"

We saw original features including wallpaper which we recognized from "The Ghost scenes".
As an Auf Pet fan, this was an amazing day for both my friend and I. The owner also showed us a folder which included pictures from when it was being filmed at the house. I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Red Phone Box

This famous, well it is if you watch Auf Wiedersehen pet, red phone box, was the one that was used by Dennis to phone Ally, to tell him about the preservation order which has been "Slapped" on Thornley Manor.

Here is a screen shot from the episode - A Law For The Rich Series 2 Episode 3.

It is located almost opposite The Barley Mow in Redmile. For you hardcore fans, you may notice that the white fence to the right has not changed and neither has the building behind the phone box. A large tree has gone, and another building now stands behind it too. I am sorry for the detail i go into.

The Barley Mow 2011.

Back in 95, i first visited The Barley Mow real name The Windmill Inn, and now I have just gone back in 2011, to take some more pictures and to see how the old place has changed. To view much more on The Barley Mow, visit my new Auf Wiedersehen Pet Website, auf-pet.com

"Who wants to gan see a tossing waterfall like?"

Here is a screen shot from The Law For The Rich episode. You can see how the front has changed over the years, but really the structure has remained the same.

As you can see, its still very recognizable and the building itself hasn't changed, but the front outside area has. I will be posting some pictures from 95 soon, and you will see how it used to look, pretty much as it did in 85/86 when the series was filmed.
